What former Unknown Theatre Company members are doing now...

Several past members of our company have gone on to achieve success in the professional world, including:

Sarah Lark
appeared in the West End productions of The Witches of Eastwick and Mamma Mia; trained at RAM in London. Reached the final 6 in BBC1's I'd Do Anything: the search for Nancy for a new production of Oliver! - first cover for Nancy for the production. (A founder member of the Company: played Pan in Peter Pan.)  Last Unknown show: Dracula Spectacula (1999) and 10th Anniversary Concert (2007)

Steve Payne was headhunted to run the Box Office in Sydney Opera House. Yes, the Sydney Opera House. Currently working as Head of Sales and Marketing at the British Museum in London. Last Unknown show: Dance of the Dragon (2005)

Harry Ferrier played a lead role in the Peter Greenway movie Nightwatching (2007). See more at his imdb page. Currently studying at RADA in London. Last Unknown show: The Zoo Story (part of the double bill Telling Tales) and 10th Anniversary Concert

Matthew Brind is working as pianist and in musical direction in the West End and on other projects. His new musical, Only the Brave opens soon in the West End. Recent credits include Musical Director for Mister, Make Me a Song - The songs of William Finn in the West End, and MD for John Barrowman's UK Tour. He has his own website www.mattbrind.com. Craig Thomas was a finalist in Pop Idol. Last Unknown show: Dazzle

Tara Panyani
is a member of Dragonheart. Last Unknown show: Les Musicals

Others have appeared on television, film and in professional theatre while remaining members of the company.

Natalie Morgan had a lead role in the West End production of The Secret Garden for the Royal Shakespeare Company and has worked with NYMT. Currently studying at Mountview Theatre School. Last Unknown show: Rameo & Eweliet

Lauren Morgan had a lead role in in the West End production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Last Unknown show: Rameo & Eweliet

Richard Hibbert appeared in the West End production of Oliver! Last Unknown show: A Slice of Saturday Night.

Liam Donovan had a lead role in the short film A Day Out. Last Unknown show: Dance of the Dragon (original)

Current and past members Melissa Moore, Jenny Donoghue, Claire Batchelor, Justine Mead and Marc Anthony Thomas were all in the cast of the Christmas 2004 run of Tickledom at the the Congress Theatre Cwmbran. 

Past Unknown members Natalie Morgan and Lizzie Gauder were also in the show.



A number of our members have also gone on to stage schools and colleges in London and elsewhere, often appearing in London shows as part of their courses.

Melissa Moore was the Chanteuse in the Torchwood episode where Jack and Jack kiss. See the clip of the scene on YouTube. Begins the postgraduate Musical Theatre Course at Guildford School of Acting, autumn 2009. Last Unknown shows: Back to the 80s and Ghost City.

Adam King - will start on the Musical Theatre Course in Laine Theatre Arts, autumn 2009. Last Unknown show: You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown

Ben Reynolds - started on the Musical Theatre Course in Mountview College in London in September 2008. Last Unknown show: You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown

Olivia Spence - started studying music at Birmingham University, autumn 2008. Last Unknown show: Just So

Kerry Donovan - started studying music at Coventry University, autumn 2007. Still performing with the company, appeared in Rumplestiltskin in Edinburgh 2008

Jenny Donoghue - started studying acting at the NYU Tisch school of Performing Arts in New York autumn 2006. Last Unknown show: 10th Anniversary Concert and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown

These are some of our members who have now finished their professional training in stage schools and colleges in London and elsewhere.

Many are now working in the entertainment industries.

Justine Mead has just graduated from the Musical Theatre Course at Guildford School of Acting autumn 2006. Last Unknown show: Seussical and 10th Anniversary Concert

Lizzy Gauder
has just graduated from the Musical Theatre Course at Guildford School of Acting autumn 2006. Last Unknown show: Godspell

Marcus Anthony Thomas -
graduated in 2008 from the Musical Theatre course at Bird College, Kent and is now working as a professional dancer. Last Unknown show: acted in Eat Your Heart Out!, choreographed Nell's Belles

Jonathan Mann graduated from music college in London in 2008, where he studied violin and conducting. Last Unknown show: Little Shop of Horrors

Sian Morgan
 - graduated from Chichester University, where she studied music & drama (2007). Last Unknown show: Little Shop of Horrors. Co-directed younger group's production. Rose! ... and the Wicked Wolfeeee!

Richard Colvin - graduated from The Royal Academy of Music postgraduate Musical Theatre course. Currently on tour with The Hired Man, including a recent appearance on Broadway. Last Unknown show: Gold Woman

Luci Gunning - graduated from The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (2006). Last Unknown show: Eat Your Heart Out!

Iain Talbot studied drama at De Monfort University, Melton Mowbray (2006). Last Unknown show: Eat Your Heart Out!
