This was the first time the YoYos (the younger members of The Unknown Theatre Company) joined the main company en masse in a musical number. They sang and danced to a song from Hairspray, and joined the members of the main company for a series of Christmas songs in the second half of the show. Past members of the company joined us as special guests: Katie Murphy sang both nights, and Ben Reynolds, currently a student at Mountview in London, joined us on the Saturday night. Katie sang A Little Bit of Earth from A Secret Garden on both nights, and Ben sang It's Hard to Speak my Heart from Parade. |
