Play director, Lon, found this script 2 years previously, when she was reading plays for the first round of the Drama Association of Wales's annual playwriting competition. Once the competition was over, through the DAW, Lon contacted playwright Alan H McDonald, who lives in Glasgow, to find out if he'd give permission for the play to be performed. He was in full agreement, but it still took a couple of years for it to be the right time for the company to perform the show. The play, ultimately, came 2nd in the DAW competition's final round for Best Youth Play in its year. |
| The play involves a large image of the 'dead girl', Amanda, which has to be displayed during the memorial concert during the show. For this show, cast member Linford Hydes created the large painting which was used for this purpose at the back of the stage. |
